We’ve recently identified and amended two exploits that allowed users to repeatedly claim full monthly SubscribeStar gem rewards.
What’s Changing?
Previously, users could:
Purchase multiple SubscribeStar subscriptions and receive multiple full payouts of monthly gem rewards within a single billing cycle.
What’s New?
Going forward:
If you change subscription tiers on SubscribeStar within the same billing cycle of receiving your last full monthly gem reward, you will now receive one-fifth (1/5th) of the full gem reward for your subscription tier.
Any action that results in a second monthly gem reward within the same billing cycle triggers the prevention logic.
Gem rewards are not prorated by time. Any change in tier within the same billing cycle of a previous full reward always receives exactly 1/5, regardless of how many days have passed.
Users can no longer cancel an existing Subscribestar subscription and resubscribe to receive their full monthly reward. Once your subscription rebills normally, you will receive the full monthly gem reward again.
Why the Change?
These updates prevent abuse of SubscribeStar's subscription reward system and ensure that it remains fair and consistent for all users and payment methods.
The revised rewards structure ensures consistency with the gem-per-dollar rate available in comparable single-purchase tiers.

Please note: CCBill subscriptions cannot be upgraded mid-cycle. To move to a higher tier using CCBill, you will need to cancel your current subscription and start a new one at the desired tier.
