How to Use the Albums Feature

Our new Albums feature makes it easy to organize your favorite images. 

This article will show you how to: 

1. Create an Album
2. Add Images to An Album
3. Manage your "My Albums" page
4. Manage your "Albums" page

Create an Album

Access the Albums Page
Click on your profile icon, then select the "My Albums" button. This will take you to the Albums page.

Create a New Album
Once you're on the My Albums page, click the "Create Album" button.

Name and Describe Your Album
Enter a name and description for your new album, then press "Create".

Your album is now ready to use! You can start adding images to it right away.

Add Images to an Album

Select & Add an Image to Your Album
Navigate to the image you'd like to include in your album and press the "Add to Album" button on the image's post-card. 

You can also navigate directly to the Post page to do this. 

Choose an Album
Select the album where you'd like to store the image and press "Add". 

Your image will now be saved in the album you selected!

My Albums Page

The My Albums page is your central hub for managing your albums.

Here's what you can do on the My Albums page:

Reorganize Albums

You can reorder your albums to suit your preferences:

1. Enable Reordering
   Toggle the "Reorganize" button in the top-right corner to enable drag-and-drop mode.

2. Drag and Drop
   Click and drag your albums to arrange them in your desired order.

3. Save Changes
   When you're happy with the order, exit Reorganization mode to save your changes.

Edit Album Name and Description

To make changes to an album's name or description:

1. Enable Editing
   Toggle the "Reorganize" button in the top-right hand corner of your Albums page.

2. Edit Details
   Once Reorganization mode has been initiated, click the pen icon on the album you want to edit.

3. Update and Save
   Enter the new name and description, then save your changes.

 

Album Page

To access the Album Page, simply click on any album from the My Albums page. This page allows you to view and manage the content within each individual album. 

Here’s what you can do on the Album Page:

Edit Album Name and Description

• Press the pen icon to update the album's name or description.

Reorganize and Manage Posts

begin by pressing the "Reorganize" button to enter Reorganization mode. Here you'll have 2 options. 

Set an Album Cover

• Once in Reorganization mode, a select image icon will appear.
• Click this icon on your chosen image to set it as the album's cover.

Remove Posts from the Album

• A bin icon will also appear.
• Click this icon to remove an image from the album.
