If you’re trying to generate content featuring furry or anthropomorphic characters (for example, wolf or horse-type anthro characters) but receive a content warning during generation or can’t find the tag through search, there are several alternative ways to locate the appropriate tag on the platform.
Animal-related prompts will not appear in standard search results, and certain prompts are automatically filtered by our moderation system. Standalone keywords referring to real animals, or to animal genitalia that are commonly linked to non-compliant content, are restricted for safety and compliance reasons. For more details, please refer to our policy on zoophilia. In general, quadrupedal, aquatic, or insect-like subjects are considered noncompliant on our site.
While furry or anthropomorphic characters are allowed, real animals are not supported in adult content generation. Fantasy Anthro/Humanoid creatures like Werewolves & Minotaurs are allowed. Quadrupeds like Centaurs are forbidden.
Non-human genital features are only permitted when they are clearly attached to a furry or anthropomorphic character, or to a human character. These limits apply to all users, including premium accounts.
The sections below explain where you can find compliant tags and what to do if the tag you're looking for isn't available yet.
Browse Tags in the Categories Section
A good starting point is the Categories section, which contains a list of available tags you can explore.
To access it
- Go to Categories on CreateAIFurry
- Click the “List” Button that appears at the top-right of this page.
- A list of existing tags will appear
From there, you can browse through the available options and look for furry or anthro-related tags, including different species and character types.
Then, select the Tag you want to view content for.
Check Community Tags
Another place to search is the Community Tags section.
Community Tags are submitted by users and reviewed by our moderation team before they become available on the platform. Because of this, some species tags may exist here even if they don't appear in the regular tag lists.
- Head to the /Create page
- Go to the Species tag group
- Once there, search for the one you want
- Browse tags created by other members of the community
Over time, this system helps expand the platform's tag library with contributions from users.
Submit a Species Tag
If you still can't find the species tag you're looking for, you can submit a Community Tag request.
Our moderation team reviews these submissions to make sure they follow the platform's Community Tag and Content Guidelines. If the tag meets the requirements, it may be approved and added for users to apply when generating content.
You can read more about how this process works in our guide: How to use Community Tags
Create a Character
You can use the Consistent Characters feature to create and save a furry or anthro Character for use across multiple generations.
Go to the /Create page and expand the Consistent Characters section. Select Create, then choose whether to create the Character from a written description or use one of your existing Creations as a Reference Image.
When using a description, focus on visible physical features such as the Character's species, fur color, hairstyle, eye color, body type, and other recognizable features. Avoid adding actions, poses, locations, or scene details to the Character Description. These details can be added to your Generation Prompt later.
After generating the Character, review the available options, select the version you prefer, and click Save Model. The Character will then appear in the Consistent Characters section and can be selected when generating new content.
For complete instructions, see Creating and Using Consistent Characters.
